I am so excited to finish a little project just for me. I picked up this fat quarter in hopes of making a zippered pouch and it actually happened:).
It's a mix of Anna Marie Horner's Field Study and my own hand dyed fabric. I thought the dark blue went so perfect with the orange. I love the feathers. I'm hoping to pick up a few more fat quarters next time I head shopping:)......ok really probably tomorrow.
I lined/quilted the exterior before finishing it off and I love the body the pouch has. I think it's going to be my new traveling sewing pouch. Now to fill it with goodies:).
CUTE!!! I need to get my hands on some Field Study some day :-) I have a new travel crochet pouch (from In Color Order's tutorial from Quilt Camp) and I love it! Yay for handmade bags for us to keep! xo
