This week I'm helping celebrate Quilting Gallery's 5th Birthday!
If you've come to visit me from the blog party welcome and I'm glad your here. If you haven't been to the blog party.......you must go, there are many more give aways to be entered for!!!!!
I'm a new quilting blog with way too many ideas in my head and my husband is tired of hearing about them......he is pretty good about it though.I love hand dying my fabrics, using reclaimed vintage fabric and sewing for my daughter (my current obsession - ok more like permanent obsession). My tastes is pretty eclectic and I love trying new things.
My current WIP has been a year in the making and I have finally gotten the nerve up to quilt it. See it took me over 9 months to dye the fabric and get just the right shades. So the thought of quilting and committing makes me nervous. What if I hate it. So, in my mind it's safer if I never finish it.....right?
Yes, I know the pic is fuzzy......I actually did it on purpose. It's a sneak peak. |
So with finally starting the quilting process, I have thread on my mind....serious thread. What colors...what weight....what design am I going to use........what, what, what, what ,what?!?!?!
Mettler sent me a oh so generous box of thread samplers to play with and share with my readers and I thought now is the perfect time to share...and play:). Up for grabs I have not one but two thread samplers for 2 lucky readers......yup, that's right 2 winners for this give away!
Each is an eight pack sampler of gorgeous Mettler thread. If you've never used Mettler you must try it. I just love it for my machine embroidery and piecing. They have some great colors!
Ok so you're wondering how to enter..........
Comments of course!
1. Leave a comment and tell me know project you are working on
2. Bonus entry for my followers! New and not new, just tell me you follow!
Sorry to my international readers....I'm only shipping domestic this time:(.
I'm leaving the giveaway open until 12/15 8pm (EST)
So you have all week to enter and tell a quilting friend....might change your odds though. :).
Good Luck and remember to swing over to the party and say Happy Birthday, sorry no cake.
oh my goodness-- the thread is beautiful! thanks for the opportunity to win.
