I wanted to do a little hand embroidery and make my own little special pop on the project and I wanted it to be useful and what girl doesn't need a gazillion little pouches for her goodies.
I don't know very many stitches, I had fun with the few I do know and am very happy with how it turned out and she felt super special that I made her a gift. So win win. Now, I want one myself though. If only I can figure out how to do that blasted french knot everyone keeps saying is so easy. My never knots.
Here's where I'm linking up to today...join the fun:).

That is a very cute idea for Summersville! Love how it looks!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my blog! I tried to reply but you came up as a no-reply blogger - not sure if you knew that or not! :)
I'm visiting from the Small Blog Meet on Lily's Quilts' site. Your embroidery turned out well - what a great idea. :-) My son would love your sesame street quilt. :-) He's two and loves all things Elmo!
